The City of Brooklyn Center's new Water Treatment Plant was designed by Wilkus Architects. The building includes facilities for the water treatment process as well as educational spaces for the viewer to learn more about the treatment processes. This merge of function, information and education was a large driver throughout the design process. Construction is progressing nicely with the hard work of Knutson and their team of subcontractors. In the images below you can see progress on exterior masonry, interior framing and installation of the water treatment piping system.
