Kowalski's Markets officially announced plans for a new store location to open in downtown Excelsior, Minnesota, the city's first grocery store since the mid-1980s. The 14,994 square foot market will sit among a 20,000 square foot retail and office building, Starbucks, Wine Shop and potentially future hotel.
Kowalski's Markets partnered with Wilkus Architects on the design. The project team also includes Oppidan, LS Engineers and EFH Construction. The design focuses back on the Kowalski brand, using their "European Market" style aesthetic & organic layout to give new perspective to an existing building.
About Kowalski's Markets: "Our commitment is to bring you an environment that wraps itself around you from the time you walk into the market until you leave the parking lot. We do our best to provide you with a warm, intimate shopping experience, complete with a friendly staff ready to answer questions and carry groceries to your car.
Our markets were created out of our family's love and passion for delicious, healthy foods and inspired by families looking for a place where they'd love to shop and be proud to call their own. The flow of our markets is designed to be easy and convenient. The environment is relaxed and well organized. It's the kind of place you'll feel comfortable running into for a quick gift or a forgotten item. Most importantly, it's a place where you can shop at your own pace, mingle freely with staff and friends, and discover something new each time you visit.
Whether it's your first time shopping with us or you've been a loyal customer for years, we promise to always do our best to make you feel like family."
Kowalski's Excelsior Market is expected to open by March of 2015. To learn more about the Kowalski Market Brand, follow construction updates or see more on design please refer to Kowalski's Website listed below.
