Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza is proud to announce the debut of their first "Create" Store Prototype in Austin, Texas. Located at 11404 RR 2222 in Northwest Austin, this location marks the first official test of the new prototype's strategies. To get the design process moving Papa Murphy's turned to Tesser, a Brand Strategy/Design firm located in San Francisco, California. Tesser's focus was to promote the ideas of creating and personalization, while reiterating the "perception and realization of product freshness". Papa Murphy's agreed. The design introduces two new key design elements, and reintroduces a few familiar ones.
“Everything focuses on the ‘create’ concept. We want to inspire customers to branch out a bit and have it made the way they want it. That is a powerful idea tied to Papa Murphy’s. We have nothing to hide and we think such openness adds a better connection to the customer. ”
Simply lines, wood, and heavy metal framings help remove the "visual clutter", while pin-pointing spot lights highlight the make-line and "create" branding. Anything that wasn't deemed necessary to the concept was removed, opening up the relationship between the customer and ingredients. A simple sheet of glass is the only thing standing in your way to pizza heaven.
