Project Summary:

PUBLIC Kitchen + Bar, once home to the Wood’s Chocolate Factory in the historic former Noyes & Cutler Building, overlooks Mears Park in Lowertown Saint Paul, MN.

Wilkus Architects provided comprehensive, full-scope design services that evolved and responded to the vision and direction of the client. The design includes 10,000 square feet interior restaurant space over two levels, 2 bars, lounge and outdoor patio. Littered with historic architectural details dating pre 1915, PUBLIC Kitchen + Bar plays off the original brick, high ceilings and heavy timber construction with it’s industrial inspired decor. With it’s completion, PUBLIC Kitchen + Bar is quickly becoming an established brand and local favorite of Lowertown St. Paul.
