Project Summary:

Wilkus Architects partnered with Grackle, a family-owned scratch kitchen and craft cocktail bar serving the Northwest Metro of the Twin Cities, to transform an existing restaurant space into a warm, open, and inviting dining destination in Maple Grove.

Our team delivered design services from Schematic Design through Construction Administration, including interior design and lighting selection. The renovation organized the restaurant around a lively guest experience with a variety of settings, including an outdoor patio, interior dining, an interior bar, and a fully functional kitchen. The updated interiors bring in a lighter, airier feel while still supporting the energy of a busy scratch kitchen and a craft cocktail program.

Grackle’s ownership also operates Margie's Kitchen & Cocktails, and we aligned the design approach with the hospitality-first brand experience they bring to both concepts.
