As Chief Operating Officer of Wilkus Architects, Kristin brings over 25 years of experience spanning architecture, construction, client representation, and municipal planning. Her diverse background provides a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist throughout the project lifecycle, allowing her to effectively align people, processes, and strategy to support both client success and organizational growth.
Kristin is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing efficient systems, and creating a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Her leadership focuses on empowering employees, strengthening operations, and ensuring Wilkus delivers exceptional service while remaining positioned for long-term success. In addition to her professional experience, she has served on her city's Planning & Zoning Commission, bringing valuable insight into community development and regulatory processes.
Outside of Wilkus, Kristin and her husband are the authors of My Preemie Baby Book and co-founders of The Potato Head Project, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families navigating the challenges of a NICU journey. When she's not working, Kristin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, hunting, ice fishing, and coaching softball.
